After graduating from AGHS and spending a year at Cal Poly, I finally received an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point and graduated four years later in 1981. ivate sector and spent 16 years in the defense industry. After 9/11/01, I returned to Government Service and recently retired from the Department of Defense in September 2015. I have relocated to Twentynine Palms, California, where my wife Beverly and I are pursuing the next phase of our life together.
