James's Story
Life
I have been married to Linda Jesperson for 32 years(she is from Inglewood,CA), we have two children, Devon and Jennifer. Linda has been a registered nurse since 1971. I graduated from El Camino College(AA) and Oregon State University with a BS in General Science/Biological Science(with a little luck and hard work!). I have worked in Respiratory Care at four hospitals over the last 32 years(maybe it is time to change jobs!) Still enjoy the work. Linda and I have lived in Westchester and Santa Barbara(CA), Albany and Corvallis(both in OR) and now have lived in Tucson for 18 years. y hobbies include astronomy, gardening and listening to music.
In 2009 I retired from from the field of respiratory care, after 36 years, and enjoy my leisure time with my family, friends, our four dogs, time spent at the YMCA, listening to music, and goofing off. Linda and I have been married 42 years and she still puts up with me! We still live in Tucson and yes, it is a dry heat, but if you like sunshine then this is the place to be. Often times I think about how lucky I was to be a small part of the Class of 1965, being part of a group that was really a large family, and also lucky to grow up in the beautiful town of El Segundo.
