James C.'s Story
After leaving Analy, I spent most of my early adulthood in school. Santa Rosa Junior College (1968-1970), University of California at Berkeley (1970-1972), California State University at Fresno (1972-1974), Texas Tech University at Lubbock (1974-1977). I became a social psychologist in 1977.

ity of Texas Rio Grande Valley, UTRGV), for example, I served as a one-person psychology department for juniors, seniors, and graduate-education students. I have spent most of my career in the middle of the country including Minnesota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
My wife Ann is an OB/GYN in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Our two children, Joan and Andrew are our biggest, and most proud, accomplishment. Both graduated from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Joan now has a master's degree in art history from Penn State and Andrew is an orthopedic surgery resident on Long Island in New York.
