James's Story
Well I'm still here in South Florida. Didn't think I would adapt since I still consider my real home to be New England ( family + interests). Heck I'll be a Bruins, Pats, Sox and Celtic fan till the day I die and I'm not surrounded by Italian bakeries at every street corner, but it's not bad. It sure is a 24hr town here and the bass fishing makes up for it a little ( oh and not shoveling snow at 6am before I have to get ready for work)
Lets see.. Had a great job of 15 years, got married, wife spent money like it was free passes to a carnival ride, got divorced, met someone and she started the same routine as the wife( why women do this I can't understand). During the first disaster recession after 9/11 I was laid off. Had to start all over from the bottom as of 5 years ago. I'm not where I want to...Expand for more
be, but during this recession at least I have survived a 200 person layoff at my current job so I'm sitting tight and happy for what I have.
When I'm not working I primarily have my nose into some kind of techy article about computers, graphics cards, motherboards, technology, high definition and console and PC games.I've been a electronics freak since I've been a kid, so if I'm not building a computer from scratch, helping co-workers get rid of a Vundo virus or adware or fixing someone's hardware issue, I'm on the PS3 in glorious 1080p or on my PC gaming or encoding and authoring video.
