James's Story
Just a quick note for those of you who didn't know, Jim passed away Memorial Day 2008. He was a wonderful husband and father. We were married 25 years and had a great life together. He had two children with his first wife of 8 years, Trae and Heather. We have one daughter, Katie. We have lived in Gulf Shores since 1999 where we had a restaurant. Jim fell in love with cooking when we lived in Birmingham and a friend gave him a job at Grayson Valley Country Club. his own restaurant. After a fall from the roof of our home,(doing some home repairs) we decided that life was too short to not be at the beach, so we closed our restaurant, sold our house and moved.. his motto was "They can kill us but they can't eat us!" We started over and never looked back. We lived life with no regrets and now we carry on without him. He will forever be missed!!!! Thanks for listening!!
