James A. Miyagishima:  

Life After High School, I enlisted into the US Army on 29 Aug 71. I went to basic in California, (Ft Ord). After basic, I went to Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center, Denver Colorado for optical laboratory specialist school. I was stationed in Germany for 3 and a half years. In Sep of 1976, I returned to Fitzsimmons until the end of my enlistment. I became a certified optician and received my AA degree in Optic's. In 1984, I received my BS degree in Health Care Management, I also received a commission in the Army and went to Ft Sill, Oklahoma for Artillery training. I got out of the Army in July of 1988 I started working as an optician in Las Cruces. I wasn't happy there so I set my sites on Alamogordo and the rest is History.
