Life Many of you know I had tried to be an astronaut, but that dream didn't happen. After college, went to Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI, then into USN nuclear subs. Due to Navy I ended up in San Diego, where I'm at 'til today. Still visit Reedley regularly as my family's still in Reedley. Usually Thanksgiving and Christmas I'm at the ranch for a while. Have settled in San Diego - this is one city that's hard to leave! Mild weather and winters. Great beaches. No mosquitos, etc. Still my wacky self, into science and science fiction. Finaly traded in my slide rule. I'm still somewhat of a nerd. I've known a lot of great people along the way, thank you each and every one! Because of business or friends, I was able to visit Europe a few times. I've been to Austria, Neatherlands, Poland, France, Switzerland, but the most intersting trip was Kaliningrad, Russia!!! Strange, different, unique, surprising russia. Was even a guest celebrity at the local state college when I spoke in the classroom and was given a vip tour. Other trips have been to the caribean, and all over the USA, which I suggest everyone see. Recently having problems working, old neck and back injuries are affecting me so I'm trying to fing things to do. I have a small garden that produces like crazy -...Expand for more
