Life
*Graduated from LCHS May 1984
*Enlisted in U.S. Navy June 1984.
*UNM from Aug 1985-Aug Aug 1989: B.A. Economics and commissioned as Naval Officer.
*Sep 91-Apr 94: Naval Station Panama Canal in the Republic of Panama -Logistics Officer. Lived in an apartment in downtown Panama City. Traveled to Costa Rica & El Salvador.
*May 94 - Jun 96: USS ESSEX (LHD 2) in San Diego, CA -Logistics & Hazardous Material Officer. Apartment downtown but spent 50% of the time at sea. At sea for 6 months aboard ESSEX and traveled to ports in Hawaii, Singapore, Hong Kong,United Arab Emirates (Middle East) and Australia; off coast of Somolia, Africa to support evacuation of U.S. and foreign military; this was 6 months after the Blackhawk Down tragedy.
*Jun 96 - Aug 98:Naval Air Weapons Station Point Mugu (now called Ventura County Naval Base) in Point Mugu, CA as the Environmental Material Management Officer. Attended evening classes at University of La Verne and earned M.S. in Business Mgt in Aug 1998.
*Sep 98-Feb 01: Military Sealift Command in Naples, Italy - Plans Officer. Visited Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Ukraine, a few London visits (saw "Phantom of the Opera" at Her Majesty's Theatre and "Cats".

many places in Italy like Florence, Milan, Pisa, Rome, Sorrento, Positano, Vesuvius, Venice, the islands of Ischia and Capri.
*Sep 2001-Aug 2003. NAS Corpus Christi, TX - Reserve Officer Recruiter for South Texas. Promoted to Lieutenant Commander in Oct 2001.
*Married on 31 Oct 2001!!!!! Sunset on the beach on Padre Island. My wife was born in Riga, Lativa. She graduated May 2003 with a B.B.A. in Accounting.
*Moved to Miami Sep 2003. Worked as a political-military analyst. Between May and June 2004, traveled to the Caribbean islands of Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Dominica, and St. Lucia. Fortunate enough to scuba dive in Dominica and St. Lucia!! Visited Riga, Latvia for 2 weeks in Aug04. Spent Labor Day weekend in Orlando waiting out Hurricane Frances.
*2005: Wife graduates with a Master's in Accounting; visited Riga in Aug/Sep05; visited London for 2 days-saw Lion King musical (do not recommend); the best musical is "Phantom of the Opera' at "Her Majesty's Theatre"; the movie is great too!
*2006: Working as a contractor at Guantanamo Naval Base in Cuba. Completed my first scuba dive since Summer 2004!.
*2006: Wife earns CPA license!
*Jan 2007: Returning to the U.S. very soon! Time to go visit Lativa again and hopefully Italy too.
