Life
During my last year at El Modena I started a window cleaning business, which I expanded into a construction window cleaning business, which in turn evolved into a construction clean-up business. In 1988 a fellow contractor approached me with a request to remove a roof for them. I did and found that roof removal was a better business then construction clean up. In 1990 many of the regulations for removing roofs changed. From this point on many of the roofs we were removing were now considered asbestos containing material. So the roof removal business turned into an asbestos abatement business and thatÂs where things took off. For years my company now known as Tradestaff Contracting Services did work all over California and Nevada. At one point I had over 100 employees etc. etc. As I spent more time working in the San Francisco Bay Area I came to really enjoy the area. I decided about four years ago to concentrate my business in The Bay Area. I scaled back to around 60 ...Expand for more

I had lived in Dana Point since 1986 and I still own a home there but in 1997 I found a 10 acre property about 6 miles Âas the crow flies west of Palo Alto. I bought the property and proceeded to build a home and office on the property. It is situated at the 2,200-elevation level on a ridge between the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay in the Santa Cruz Mountains over looking the entire Bay Area. Open space preserves for several miles surround it. The area has many oak, redwood, and madrone trees and is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. I am less then an hours drive from San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland Airports. Hey Neil Young, Ronnie Lott and Joe Montana are my neighbors. Anyway if you are ever in the area come stay awhile, I have a great guest room.
Anyway that is the very short version. I am writing a book. Some of the chapter names include called " Entrepreneurial Inspirations" and "Reasons why I am not already dead".
