Kandee Parker:  

Life Hi to all, my name was Kandee Clark until I married my best friend, James Parker,in October of 1991 and became Kandee Parker. In 1990 we moved to Charleston,SC and have lived here on the Isle of Palms ever since. In the early 90's I tried teaching at Cainhoy Middle School as an 8th grade Language Arts teacher. Although it was rewarding, I always wanted to do more. Later on, I returned to school at Medical University of SC and became a registered nurse. I am sooo glad I did! Nursing allows me to have a flexible schedule (as much or as little work as I want), it allows me to be nurturing, and I still find myself teaching- only this time it's one-on-one to patients who really want to learn about their condition. James and I always said we wanted children some day and we finally decided to go for it. In 3/2003 we had our first little girl (Ashley). From a bias viewpoint: she is adorable, extremely intelligent and very independent. Then in 1/2006 we had our 2nd little girl (Brooke) and she is now 11 mts. old. She should be the poster child for Disney as she is the happiest baby on Earth. (Really, she has a great disposition and smiles often.)
