James's Story
Life
After nearly 14 years on the east coast, I moved back to California in '02, then to Portland, Oregon in '05. I'm loving it here. I still work for myself in translation management and language consulting, but I'm considering a career change sometime soon. I've been doing translation work since '93, so it's definitely time for a change. I'm hoping for sometime in '07. Okay, it's August now. How about '08?

ckpacked for two months through Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras. I'll be taking a similar, but longer trip during my career transition.
While my parents no longer have enough room for our Class of '88 Homecoming floats, they still live in the area, now in Castroville. I hope to run into some old friends when I visit my folks, especially during the holidays. Feel free to call or email if you're going to be back home, or even in Portland.
