James's Story

I graduated FKHS in 1965. Spent that summer as a lifeguard at the NCO pool by the high school, met and married a girl from Vine Grove. Joined the Air Force in 1966 and spent 4 long years doing time all over the place, some in 'Nam and Thailand. Too much time away from wife and two boys we had and divorced in 1970. rried my current wife Sandi, with whom I have three wonderful daughters. After more travels and travails, we landed once again in Tacoma and I became part of the Pierce County Sheriff department, where I am still employed. I work as a Corrections Officer in the jail ( read "jailer") . We have 7 grandchildren, and I think we are pretty well done for awhile.
