James's Story
One of the greatest things in my life is the wisdom I have gained with age. What a gift wisdom is, and it keeps growing with each passing year.
I Left Dutchess County in 1977 to live with a friend in San Diego, California (Pacific Beach) until I remarried and moved to West Central Minnesota and built a new home. Now retired from both Safeway and as a former part time professor of sociology, I write mostly non published essays of question, and tend to my house and my property.
I have 7 children, 5 who are grown and are biological, and two stepchildren all perusing their goals in various areas of the US. Among them are a doctor practicing Neurology, a law student, an entrepreneur in a chocolate import company from Zanzibar, a mom with a PA license, an F-15 mechanic disabled from the US Air Force, another currently serving our country in the USAF and lastly, a senior in high school. Sadly, my oldest son died while in his second year of college in 1997. To him I dedicate my life.

ually shared in the demise of all three relationships to these women I respect to this day. Through all this I have been there for all but one of my children, and even she is coming around which makes me a very happy and thankful man.
My heart goes out to all who have passed and have and had trying times. We lived as others before us and others to come, in a time of change of both good and bad. The only difference is that ours' was OUR TIME, and to us it seemed quite a unique time.
My thoughts are with you all and all your families my friends. I salute any of you who have been married and remained in love to this day with the woman you married. I salute any of you who have defended our freedoms even though some of them are slipping away. I weep for those who hurt, and am thankful for those enjoying a fortunate life. I miss you all, something I did not discover until a few years ago when I asked myself, "Where has time gone?"
Please write to me and tell me of you lives, In my writings are all of those who write, changing names of course, but painting a verbal picture of my life, my thoughts, and my friends.
May peace be with you all. Jimmy
