Life I am currently living in Pa. Spent 21.5 years in the Navy. I went to Boot Camp at Great Lakes, Ill. in the Fall of 1976. My Company was 298 in the 23rd Batt. we Graduated as Color Company. Next was MS "A" School in San Diego, Ca. from Dec. of 1976 to Mar. of '77. I then reported to PCU Dwight D. Eisenhower CVAN-69 at the Fleet Training Center in Norfolk, Va. We lived in Carter Hall until May when we moved aboard the Ship in Newport News, Va. We took her through Sea Trials in the Summer and early Fall of '77 and Commissioned her as The USS Dwight D Eisenhower CVN-69 in October.I left The Ike in the fall of 1980 and reported to VP-26 Homeport Nas Brunswick, Me. while deployed to Rota Spain in July of 1981 and was with them until May of 1985 when we were deployed to Okinawa. Next I went to VP-92 in South Weymouth, Ma. where I was stationed from June of 1985 until Sept. of '88. I then reported to NETC Newport, R.I. in Oct. and was there until Oct. 1991. I attended MS "C" School for General Mess Operation/Advanced Food Prep in San Diego, Ca. from Oct. 31st until mid December. I reported to the USS Savannah AOR-4 Homeport Norfolk, Va. while deployed to The Med. I was there from Dec. 31st 1991 until Aug. 1994.
