y tennis tournaments and run road races, until 2003 when I became very ill. I was eventually diagnosed with lyme disease and toxic mold infections and was so sick I had to retire from my job prematurely. Due to the stress caused by my illness, my wife of almost 30 years divorced me in 2015. My younger daughter Emily chose to live with me while she completed college. Carrie was already living on her own. I have done some guest teaching at Kansas City Christian School and Whitefield Christian Academy in philosophy, Christian apologetics and Shakespeare. I now live in Lawrence with my older brother.
