as at Austin, Jim got involved in the travel/tour business with World Express Tours. Nine years at Dell as a marketing manager for new enterprise services, Jim was later sent to train Dell personnel in Mexico, Canada, Europe, India and the Philippines. He now works for the IC2 Institute of the University of Texas at Austin--a leader in research, understanding and application of technology commercialization and technology- based venture creation. The IC2 Institute¿s Global Commercialization Group works with foreign governments and academic and business entities to use technology commercialization and venture creation to drive economic growth, currently in India, Hungary, Chile, South Korea, Egypt and Kuwait. Jim has been married 9.5 years to the former Sharon Solomon from Grand Isle, Louisiana. He has one son, Jimmy. Jim's long term goal is to return to Kaupakulua, Maui and continue some of that weed killing he's so good at.
