James's Story
December 15 1989 I entered military training for the Air Force. After basic training, I went to Lowry AFB, Colorado for technical training in MWRS, Morale, Welfare, Recreations and Services. Basically I did Hotel and Restaurant Management, Search and Recovery teams, Recreational Services, and Mortuary Services. I also was with a deployment team for readiness services. I lived in Ramstein Air Base, Germany for two years, visited lots of other countries while stationed there. Then transferred to Fairchild AFB near Spokane, WA in May 1992. abia for 8 months during Operation Desert Storm and Shield. I was honorably discharged in July 1994.
Fast Forward to 2019 - Been in healthcare for over 20 years, from revenue cycle, data analysis and operational/financial executive management. I do consulting to help physicians and/or medical centers improve performance and revenue and I also own a medical billing company. I live in League City, Texas, just south of Houston. I still travel to Albuquerque to visit my family and of course the International Balloon Fiesta. With my wife and kids, we have fun in our new home, taking trips to visit family and friends, and have new adventures.
