ed 2-A girls' basketball coach of the year in 1986 and Oregon Conservation Teacher of the Year in 1996. I had great students at both schools (two of them are now emergency room doctors here in Salem) and worked with some pretty amazing teachers.
Personally, I married Karen Tedrick (class of 1961) in 1962 and we had two kids, Randy, now a geologist based in Sandy, Utah, and Lisa, a reiki master and NIA instructor living in Montgomery, Texas.
We retired in 2002, and moved here to Salemtowne in 2006. Salemtowne is an active retirement community with its own golf course, which I am currently trying to wear out.
