My dear wife, Ruth, passed away in February, 2019 after 59 wonderful years of marriage. Three daughters. One son (deceased). Fifteen grandchildren and seven great-granddaughters. All fun vibrant and handsome like their grandmother. After High School enlisted in the USMC and was selected for flight navigation school. During flying career at Cherry Point MCAS was assigned to VMR 252 then VMGR 252 (inflight refueling) as a flight navigator. Navigated R4Q-2 and then GV-1 (Hercules) transports. Qualified as a polar navigator and participated in the Bay of Pigs airlift out of Gitmo to Vieques P.R.. Deployed to Caribbean and South America and had assignments as a ferry navigator to Port Layuety Morocco delivering R4Q-2 aircraft to Navy. Youngest person to obtain an FAA navigator license and was recruited out of USMC to work for a government related agency delivering munitions, personnel and supplies to South Vietnam, Siam, Laos and Cambodia. Attended five universities over seventeen years. Last was Rollins College where I completed degree requirements for BS and BA in accounting and economics. Obtained certification as an Architect and worked as an Architect until I entered the construction and development industry in Florida.
