School
I attended North Judson Liberty Elementary for first grade only. Then we moved to San Pierre and I attended second to sixth grade there. I went to North Judson Jr. High for 7th and 8th grade at what is now all the elementary school in North Judson. The old high school was downtown and I attended 9th and 10th grade there. ss of 1976 and of course it was our bicentennial year in the United States. I left high school and decided to attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville.
College
I attended Wabash College from 1976-1980. I joined the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and made a lot of great friends for life. I graduated with a BA in German and a teaching license.
I decided to join the military after college, instead of taking a teaching position.
