After completing the bachelor of science degree at Geneva College (PA) in 1968, I attended Iowa State University and earned an MS degree in psychology in 1969; taught psych at Geneva College from 1969 to 1972; returned to Iowa State in 1972 to complete the PhD degree in 1974. y) for 41 years, first as professor of psychology, then as dean, then as provost, and, finally, as president. My wife and I retired in 2015 and moved to Ocala, FL.
I am learning how to play the guitar and how to be a good retiree. I am also writing a nonfiction book titled The Making of a Collegian. I still exercise a lot to stay ahead of the grim reaper.
