James's Story
Well, I've been a member of Classmates.com for several years but have never written my story so here goes. I have been married since 1980 and have 3 kids. 2 girls, ages 28 and 26, 1 boy,age 17. I worked in food service for 13 years. Moved to Florida in 1995. Survived 3 hurricanes in 6 weeks. You probably saw those on the news. Nothing like being right in the middle of them, believe me. number 6 is due in Feb. Currently working in a furniture warehouse called Rooms To Go. Been there 6 1/2 years. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. I had my left kidney removed and they got it all. Thank god I didn't have to have chemo or radiation. I'm doing well now, with the exception of being overweight and I still haven't been able to quit smoking. Bad habit for a cancer surviver. Well, that's about it.
