Soon after we were married in Southern California, we moved to London, England, where I served as the CEO of Global International. Living in London in the 70™s and 80™s, and raising our two daughters who were born there, was a magical time for us. After 16 years there, I decided to move the family to Bend, Oregon in 1989. While we got an ˜American big-outdoors™ experience, it was short lived “ both too cold and too isolated for us to want to stay. In search of the warmth and more business opportunities, we soon moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where we lived for 13 years and I invested in real estate. Scottsdale changed drastically during our time there and, just before the bubble burst, Diana and I decided to move to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We are very happy and, yes, very safe here in Mexico. San Miguel is a beautiful, historic colonial town that is 350 years old and in the heart of where the Mexican Revolution began.
