Jim's Story
Life
My name is Hannah Layne Frase and I am the third child born to my father James R. Layne.
As most of you may know, my dad passed away (along with my two year old brother, Joseph) on February 19, 1974 from a tragic automobile accident on HWY 20 between Willits and Fort Bragg. I was just 5 months old at the time. My mother, Nancy Jacobsen (class of 1965) was left with me and my four year old big sister, Sadie.

s 27 short years. I cannot regret the events that have shaped my life, because they have done just that. But sometimes, quite often actually, I envy those of you who actually knew him, got to see him, had conversations with him. I've connected with several of his high school classmates, and those stories and memories they have are awesome.
I went to the Ukiah High 40 year reunion in his place, and I would love to go to the 50 year as well. I'd love to meet anyone whom ever knew him.
