James's Story

Life Moved to Utah the day after graduation Went to Utah State Univ, AFROTC scholarship BS History in 1977, commissioned in AF, stayed 20yrs, 2mos, 22days(but who counted) Married Aug 77 to a Marine BRAT, Son, 39, married, attorney working for Goldman Sachs, one daughter Daughter, 31,married, 2 sons, payroll manager for Texas based solar energy company Flew B-52s in AF, lived in CA, OK,LA,AL,FL,LA,UT. MS in industrial Psych from Louisiana Tech Retired from AF in Feb 98 Present: retired from Delta when I turned 65 (FAA mandatory rule), work my hay farm, play with cars, and spend time in Cowboy Action Shooting. n, Utah on a 4 year AFROTC scholarship, graduating in 1977 with a BS in History (I was pre-med for a while and had many science courses which gave me a rare BS in history). While in the Air Force, I got a MA in Industrial Psychology from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. Workplace After retiring from the Air Force, I spent 12 weeks working for the Civil Air Patrol before being hired by Delta Air Lines as a pilot. I have flown the Boeing 727, 757, 767-200, 767-300, 767-ER, 737-800, 767-400, MD-88, AirBus 319/320/321. and am now a retired Captain. I still live in UT. Work as a Docent at the Hill AFB Museum and as a range officer at our local county range.
