James's Story
I'm married to my high school sweetheart (Cheryl Sisco) for almost 31 years and the Lord has blessed us with 6 children. We moved from the Chicago area five years ago and now live in Derby, KS. I'm the senior pastor at Calvary Bible Church and just starting on my doctorate degree.
After all these years I still play hockey twice-a-week (the Wichita Ice Center is 3 blocks away from church) and travel overseas several times a year to teach.

mentally and physically handicapped and we lost everything we had because of her medical bills. After struggling for 8 years, I gave my heart over to Jesus Christ in August 1991 and life has never been the same. Growing up and all through high school my life revolved around sports and what I wanted. He changed all that. I've graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a master's degree and love learning.
Ultimately, I'm still trying to be the faithful, loving, husband, father and pastor I need to be.
