James's Story

Life Hello all, I hope everyone that I knew are leading happy and productive lives. As for me, after graduation, I went to NYIT for a short bit before fleeing to Tennessee to live. Decided to join the Army for three years where i was based in Germany and deployed to Bosnia. Upon discharge, I went back to school and attended SCCC in Selden and earned an Associates degree in Criminal Justice. Immediately upon graduation, I went into the NYS Police Academy. I've enjoyed being a Trooper here in NY for over 25 years and I recently Retired as a Sergeant- Station Commander in July 2023. I still reside on the Island in Suffolk Co. Now that I am retired, I am hoping to move to TN to be closer to family. I have been enjoying an awesome marriage with my beautiful wife, Tammy. We have two boys - our first born, Tyler James, is 16 and our baby boy,...Expand for more

Be Safe..JIM School I attended school mostly in NY at Bay Shore HS. I only spent 7th and 10th grade in TN. at Warren Co. HS. I had fun and met alot of great people down in Warren Co. however, it couldn't compare to life in NY. Occassionally, I run into people I know in Warren Co. when I visit my family who still reside there as well as the people I bump into on the road in NY. It's nice to see them and catch up but it's funny how once we get on the topic of my employment the conversation takes a quick exit. Well be safe and enjoy life.
