Jamey's Story
Life
I met my husband in North Carolina where he was in the Marine Corps. We have the same name so you can imagine the response we got when we got married and the pastor said, "Do you Jamie Lee take Jamey Leigh to be your lawful wedded..."
"Boy Jamie" worked as a K-9 Police Officer in Portland for 7 years and now works for Corpus Christi Police Department. We have 1 child on the way as well as our other "children" 1 dog; 2 cats, and 1 bird.
School
I dated Terry Beyer during most of my high school years and mostly hung out with his friends which were all class of 1984. I didn't really care much for high school - can't...Expand for more
really think of too many happy memories there except hanging with my true friends.
College
I went to college in North Carolina and got my AAS in Microcomputer Systems Technology.
Workplace
I worked my way up from a runner to a receptionist to a legal secretary to a legal assistant to an office manager in the legal field for almost 20 years at different firms both in Texas and Florida. I finally decided to change careers because I really started hating working for unethical lawyers. I am now an Administrative Associate working at The University of Texas at Austin - Marine Science Insitute in Port Aransas and I love it!
