Jamie's Story
Life
I go for a 1 mile walk almost everyday.
The remote town I lived in you could only get there by boat or airplane then they built a road to there in 1985. Everyone in that town knew each other there was close to 200 people that lived there. There was only 1 store there,1 restaurant,& 1 school there K-7. There was also a swimming pool, and a hall that was used for dances, sports and ect. There was also a ball field. It was a logging town. It close down in 1988. It was called Mahatta River. I moved there in 1983. only 4 houses had phones there was a pay phone. We had our power from a power plant. My Mom and Dad and I moved 30 minutes away from Mahatta River to a place called Ingersoll we were the only 3 people that lived there my Dad was the care taker there we lived there from 1988-1998. I also know sign language.
School
I ...Expand for more
really enjoyed going to school.I met so many friends. After I left Eric Hamber my Parents & I moved to a remote area the high school was over 2 hours away so I did my schooling at home I did well.
For those of you who are wondering I never went to Richmond High,ST Anthony's or Grauer My Mom did thats why I have them posted under my communitties I did go to the other schools listed but not Mahatta River I have lots of friends that went there.
College
I took college course's at home because there was no college close by. I took a cooking course, and a drama course I pass both of them.
Workplace
I work as an assistant Equipment Manager for the local hockey team I been doing that since 1999 and I have lots & lots of friends now. I used to work at a kennel in the remote town I lived in from 1983-1988. I also do figure skating.
