Hi --
Anyone who recognizes my name here knows that I moved away, and really have a different graduating class (in New York, where I moved during 11th grade).
But it seemed to me that the upcoming reunion, of what would have been my graduating class, is a great opportunity to see all of you again, so I looked into finding out about the reunion. WHEW -- I knew some of you since kindergarten, at Holiday Park, and many more of you I knew from back at Newport Junior High.
So much has happened since I last lived in Wheaton, in 1973. My married name is Weber, and we live in Brooklyn. I'm now a stay-at-home Mom, since we have a 3-...Expand for more
year-old. But before getting married (almost 5 years ago) I spent a lot of years in some colorful jobs, including VISTA service in Alaska after college ('remember the old "Domestic Peace Corps"?), and, more recently, believe it or not, 7 years in the chorus at the Metropolitan Opera. Of course, there's a lot of other stuff I've done, learned, and experienced in between, like all of us....
Anyway, I'm still deciding whether or not to come to the reunion, but I am leaning towards YES. Meanwhile, may we all be able to have only happy news to share with each other, perhaps in Gaithersburg in October!
