Since graduation, my life has taken a few turns. I spent a few years attending OU, until I decided college wasn't for me. I was hired as a temporary secretary at Fort Sill in 1987. Someone obviously saw potential I didn't know was there and offered me a permanent position. After 23 years in Resource Management at Fort Sill, I recently received a promotion that is taking me to Fort Bliss, TX where I will be fortunate enough to perform the duties of Chief Budget Officer for the 2nd largest Army installation in the Continental United States. My professional life is pretty amazing! My personal life has had its moments. I married a Fletcher boy in 1988. David and I had two children, Ashton and Austin. In 1998, we divorced. I remarried in 2001 to a wonderful man from Elgin. In 2004, my family and I were involved in a serious car crash. We were hit by a drunk driver.
