Jamie's Story
After enjoying many years of the single life, I got married in 2005. My husband is Bobby Whitt and is originally from Sandy Hook, KY.
When I married Bobby I got the child I always wanted. Grown, taking care of himself and I thought at that moment I could not get any happier. However, we recently got the news that he will be getting married in May 2009 to a wonderful girl he has been dating. She stole my heart at Christmas when she said she was ready to be a mother. Now we are just waiting on nature to take its course and make us grandparents. Now that is happiness.
I never thought I could make the change and adjust to family life, but I have and I couldn't be happier.

be thankful that I was able to quit working and take care of her in her time of need. She wasn't just my Mom she was my best friend. Later that year, the same weekend of our class reunion (which I didn't attend; I had a bad feeling about that time) Lowell Knight died suddenly. He was a wonderful friend and love of mine. I also had a friend of many years who was hit and killed on his motorcycle while on a trip to Michigan. Then in between Christmas and New Years I lost my cat of almost 19 years. Houdini was the comfort I had held on to during all the struggles of the year of 2006. All in all I can truely say it made me much stronger.
