Jamie's Story
After Oakmont, I went to Sierra College and transferred to UC Berkeley, where I earned my BS in electrical engineering (you always knew I was a geek anyway). As if that wasn't enough torture, then came a year and a half of UC Davis for an MS. Since 1989 I've worked at Sandia Labs in Livermore designing circuits and programming. can. Once in a while we manage to see a concert. We moved to a newer house in 2011, so there's no more home improvement (this one's perfect as-is)! We also have a house and some land in Washington where we escape when it gets too hot in Livermore. In my free time I hike, play my guitar, experiment with electronics, and do extra credit home projects (solar, etc.). I learned a lot of neat stuff and met a lot of really nice people at Oakmont, so I have nothing but fond memories of my four years there.
