Jan's Story
I moved to Florida in the early 80's. I now live on Sanibel Island with my husband. Our son is now 21, and managing a small business. He is a terrific young man, and we are lucky to have him.
My husband was diagnosed with advanced, metastatic prostate cancer in 2000. I soon became an advocate & researcher. There is a lot of misinformation in prostate cancer. It can be overwhelming and confusing. If I can help anyone, please feel free to email me. I have not purchased the Gold Membership version of Classmates.com, so I can only READ EMAILS, not read signatures.
Update - My husband passed in 2013. I continue my education, advocacy, and free conferences for prostate cancer patients & caregivers, and have started my own non-profit this year (2024). See - YourProstateCancer.help.
