Jan's Story
Hello everyone!
25th is coming soon! I hope to see you there.
25 years have zipped by.
I now live in Bloomingdale Illinois. I have a wonderful husband of 23 years on July 20th, 2008 and we have two boys. AJ and Trevor (14 and 12) We love Illinois for its four seasons and wonderful freindly people who live in the midwest. (well, not behind the wheel of a car, but that doesnt count)
We moved here 5 years ago after living in San Diego for 14 years. Andy works for United Airlines and when 9-11 occured we were told to leave United Airlines or move to Illinois. So instead of giving up our great airline benefits we moved. We are very happy and have traveled to some awesome places.
Life has been good to us as we still have our home in California and our home in Illinois. We were blessed to open two Massage Envy Stores in the last two years and they are doing well. The relaxation business...Expand for more
is great but man it is stressful running them. TONS OF WORK! As the owner, it is awesome to get a massage when needed!
Before Massage Envy, I worked in Sales in the education arena. I loved helping people change thier lives and reach success.
I love to spend time with my family and believe it or not, I love road trips. (funny that I have free flight benefits)
I have an Austrailian Shepard who is so loyal. I do adore him.
I am involved in several local community programs and a few global programs. It feels good to give. Try it, you may like it!
My latest project is coming up this July 28th. We will donate an entire days proceeds to the Susan G. Komen local afiliate for breast cancer by doing the "Massage for the Cure" event. We hope to do over 100 one hour sessions in a day. My staff is awesome and between the two stores we have 45 Massage therapists. I think they can do it!
