Hello Classmates, especially my own Class of '62. It's been fun to use this website to reconnect with some of you, and I hope more of you will get in touch. I was Barbara Shearer back in '62 and my journey away from our alma mater began with marriage, a year spent in Germany on an army base, and then a divorce--all by the age of 18! After returning to Lakewood, I used the shorthand and typing skills honed in Mr. Doud's 11th grade class to secure a job. In 1964, I married my BFF and we have spent the last 45 on a great adventure that includes 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and owning our own company, LODI Equipment, from 1976 until retirement in 2003. We traded Southern Cal for Northern Cal in '65, living and raising our family from Dallas, Tx to Portland, OR until settling in Lodi for many years and in Davis for the last 18.
