Jan's Story
Attended Penn State for two years. Took a year off to work. From 1978 until 1981 attended and graduated from the Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing. Worked at Mercy Hospital in Portland Maine until and after marriage in 1982. First child born in Maine in 1983. Moved to Plattsburgh New York and then Peru New York for 12 years. Second child born there. Moved back to Penn State so the kids could go to school there. Neither did! We've lived here in Boalsburg for 12 years. Daughte...Expand for more
r lives in Dublin Ireland. Finishing her Phd. Another doctor in the family!:)Her work is in drug delivery via the digestive tract. We're very proud. She plans on attending medical school after that. It is something she has wanted since she could talk. We have tried to talk her out of it- since she could listen!:) Son is a senior at Pitt. Little traitor! We're very proud of him too- despite his choice in schools:) We are looking for land to build our second home near Raystown Lake.
