Jan Halverson:  

Jan is originally from Menlo Park, California and graduated from Woodside HS in 1968. Jan later attended University of Oregon (Dance major and Pi Beta Phi sorority member) where she started the very first U of O dance team, of which she was the captain and choreographer. Jan worked in dentistry for 40 years mostly at Dr. Daniel Phillips, orthodontics office. She coached and judged high school cheerleading for many years, was president of the Oregon Cheerleading Coaches Assoc. for seven years and ran the OSAA State Cheerleading Championships for thirteen years. Jan is a member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization, that raises funds for women’s continuing education), recently serving as President of her chapter.
