iss to contact. Someday soon-I may go back to work at least parttime. Just too hard right now with lots hapening (and too many animals-oh, as normal, I forgot-we have two parakeets, too. Poor birds, I forget to mention them all the time-but I do remember to feed them and give them water). In the meantime-we're just really enjoying Nevada. It has it's strange weather, possible showers-we'll get a few sprinkles, we can get snow wheneve-it just snowed at 5:30in the morning last Friday (May 2). Lots of lightning strikes during the summer months. AND-most recently-tons of earthquakes (like 5000 in the last 9 weeks)-but, I've only flet one-a 3.7 a couple of weeks ago-that's nothing-since I was in the Bay Area during the 10/89 Loma Prieta that was a 7.0. But one thing that we have here is Pyramid Lake-it's about a half hour drive from our house and I remember seeing it for the 1st time last August. It tok my breath away-the lake at about 1pm was the color of a sapphire - it was just beautiful - something that should be considered one of the "Wonders of the World". After living here-in such a kick back lifestyle-I could never move back to the Bay Area-way too congested with the roads and what shouldn't be there. I miss all my friends in CA-but am s happy here in NV (just got to make sure that I never turn into a "redneck" that there are many of here). But I doubt, knowing me, that would happen. I still have my big city CA views. I still hate guns and those that use them. But we do have coyotes up here and I'm all for buying mace to get them away if they try to attack. As opposed to guns as I am, I'm willing to gety a stun-gun-just to protect Ed and the animals. I just could not kill anything.
