Jan's Story

During that time I also ran a successful business, a women's fitness center, for 11 years. I taught aerobics and was a personal trainer and nutrition counselor; but the greatest satisfation was seeing the women achieve their goals. r. I sold the business and spent the next 14 months just being with him. He passed away on December 17, 1998. I rmarried in 2001 and Dan and I moved to Salida, just outside of Modesto. 3 1/2 years later I woke up one moring to find him on the living room floor, dead from a heart attack. I now work with Hospice as a volunteer Bereavement Group facilitator. I live just ouside of Sonora, have taken up a new hobby of horseback riding, and play the keyboard and banjo & sing in a band. Life is good~! I'n so looking forward to seeing & talking to everyone at our reunion in August.
