Jan's Story
So after graduation from SHS, I finished Beauty College, and have been working off and on as a Cosmetologist. I got married to Jonathan Lance in "83 and have been living in Gilroy. Jon mainly works as a painting contractor, he owns Royal Painting. We have been active in church, the Boy Scouts, and local music groups. We have traveled to England and Germany with our children's violin tour group. We also have a video business, Memories in Motion, we do weddings, concerts, local theater, and etc. We have 8 children, Jessica 24, Jarom 22, Justin 20, Joanna 19, Jordan and Janae 17, (yes twins) Julia 11, and Joshua 9. Yes I know they all start with j, yes I know you all think I am crazy. Jessica is married to Rory Christian and they have a daughter Sadie Lyn, 9 months. They live in Gilroy. e been married for 2 months. They too live in Gilroy. He works for Pheonix Deventures also. Stephanie recently took her state test for cosmetology! Jarom is attending college to get his GE done and try to figure out what he wants to do with his talents. Justin is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, of which we are members, in Ireland. He will be home in October this year. He will be finishing his AA also and transferring to a medical school to become a doctor. Joanna is finishing her AA degree in Language Arts and transfering to a 4 year college in Dec. She wants to write and edit books. Jordan and Janae are soon to be seniors in high school. They are members of an audition choir that performed at Carnegie Hall this May. Julia and Joshua love to make movies with Legos and Barbies. All of my children have played or still play violin, piano, or flute, my personal favorite. My husband plays the radio.
