Jan's Story
After graduating from Penn with a B.S. in Nursing, I worked in TX 3 yrs.as an Army Nurse, then my husband and I started a family and had 2 kids, moved to Germany for 3 yrs., returned to the States divorced, and with a big challenge and no house, car, job, nor money, I found a job working at a local VA hospital and joined the Army Reserves to get back on my feet. 6 yrs. later I married a great guy who loved my children as his own. 2 yrs. later we were blessed with our Steven. tirement with its joys of travel, horseback riding and scuba. I've skied the Materhorn, parasailed, and had been lost at sea for 36 hrs. after losing the propellers, so I've lived a little.
I mentioned I'm retired but now I'm a starting out as a certified legal nurse consultant, which should be exciting once I get stared.
I enjoy hearing from old friends from college and Army assignments. I am a retired RN now, so I have a lot of freedom to visit friends and family and for traveling the US and the beautiful world, sometimes solo but meeting many friends along the way. Life is full of adventures.
