Life
My life has been quite the journey.
At times, the road has been rocky, dark and scary as during my multiyear divorce and custody battle. Other times, it has seemed relentlessly dull while earning a paycheck doing work that numbed the senses. Then again, all that made me appreciate the sweet happy times all the more -- when my son was born thirty odd years ago and watching him grow into a man I could be proud of; the morning after my divorce was over whe...Expand for more
n I opened my window to see a dewdrop bejeweled spider web glistening in the early morning sun; the laughter and joy spent with much loved friends; then finally, these halcyon days of a new marriage to a wonderful man from my youth who absolutely adores me.
Each morning as we sit out on the porch listening to the cacophonous wildlife and watching the sunrise, it's sheer joy discovering the nuances in each other while making plans for our future together.
