Jan's Story
I married a man I worked with in 1973, named Bill Morgan. We were in the field of promotional advertising and travelling around the country, finally settling in Indianapolis, Indiana where the company was headquartered. In June, 1976, we had our daughter, Jenna Rae. I lost Bill to cancer 72 days after that. I returned to Cleveland and focused on my education to support my daughter, going to Cleveland State and finally, Baldwin Wallace. er and became Vice President of Operations for Chase Manhattan Bank. I was widowed for 11 years and met my current husband, Tony Swegle through work. He had custody of two young sons and we blended our families on May 12, 1989. Tony retired in 2011 and we moved to Leland, North Carolina, just outside of Wilmington. I worked in a hospital Emergency Room for almost 6 years before retiring in 2018. We have 8 beautiful grandchildren. I'm looking forward to going to the West Tech reunion and seeing many "old" faces!
