Jan's Story

I attended Westminster College and American University. When I retired in 1973 to raise a family, I was Executive Editor of Children's Books at Holt, Rinehart and Winston. I married Jay Ruhle in 1972, and I have a daughter Talley(32) who is grown and breeds Hanoverian horses in Pa. and a son Josh (31) who played professional lacrosse for the Phil....Expand for more
Wings and is an operations coordinator for Reeb Millwork in Rhode Island. My husband and I live on a farm in Pleasant Valley, Pa. where we enjoy our miniature horses, a goat, 4 cats and 3 hunting dogs. We hunt (I take photographs), fly fish, kayak, travel, and play golf and tennis. Jay is semi retired and I'm still volunteering in the community.
