Jan's Story

Well now how do I start. My maiden name was Dooley. Grew up in Berkely Missouri. went to TL Holman elementary. Moved out west to Washington state in 1970/71. Went to Mountlake Terrace Middle school. Then moved on to Ferndale High school in Ferndale WA where I am still today. Was married in 1980 for 15 years to Brian Donovan. We had 2 wonderful kids, one boy and one girl. Divorced in 1996. Married again in 2001 to Leonard Wilson from Sunnyside, WA. We are now raising his son of 15. He is attending Ferndale High School. My favorite things to do are camping, hunting, fishing, and mushrooming (no, not the goofy kind). We spent the last 10 years manageing and working in campgrounds and RV Parks, mostly around Washington state. It was the most wonderful experiences ever. We had the opportunity to meet a lot of people from around the world and to spend time in the great out doors daily. Due to my husbands illnesses we have had to give up that lifestyle and I am now in search of a new carreer. I am going back to school in December to be an accountant. It's a little scary, been a long time since I was in school. I have 2 beautiful grandchildren with one on the way. I live in Ferndale, I guess because it is home and where most of my family is still. e mountains if only there was employment. My husband is disabled so it's up to me to work for a living for now. My parents celebrated thier 50th anniversary this fall. A lot of work, glad that's over. I have a sister, Lisa, that lives in Arlington, WA, brother George, lives in Ferndale, and brother Bill lives in Alaska. My dads family is all from Missouri and I started my growing up in the suburbs of St. Loius (Berkley). I have often dreamed of a reunuion with some of the kids I grew up with there. It seems like we all started kindergarten together and were still together when I left in the 6th grade to move to Washington. So, just in case any of you read this, please contact me, it would great to hear from you. Another note... I have a long lost friend from middle school in Mt Lake Terrace, WA. His name is Tony Tylor. If any one knows of him it would be greatly appreciated if you hook us up. Last but certainly not least I would like to thank all the friends that I have had over the years for being there when I needed you. I have tried to remain loyal to as many of you as I could and I think of you all often. I pray that you all have as wonderful and blessed life as I have had. God loves us all. Currently I find myself using face book a lot. Jan Dooley, Donovan, Wilson
