Jan's Story
Life
Currently I am working at a high school as a teachers aide, and going to school on Saturdays to get my teaching degree. Only I plan on teaching in elementary school, not high school. I do love working with kids of all ages, but I absolutely adore seeing the light spark in a young child's eyes when they learn something major, like how to read. It is an awesome thing.

My hubby, Mark, is just exactly what you would expect from the "old-school" generation. He is respectful and sweet, but so doggone stu...Expand for more

My Kids
Anthony is 16 years old already. Thank goodness I get to bribe him with grades before I have to let him drive! Kaiya, my baby, is already 8. I can't believe how fast they grow up. I know everyone says that, but its amazing to experience it yourself. Both my kids have been tested and are nearly geniuses, which of course means that they have NO COMMON SENSE! Life can be interesting with them based on that. Good thing they are just so lovable!
