Japan and China. I was honorably discharged in 1955, went back to school, Long Beach City College on the
GI Bill and worked at Disneyland when it opened that year. I got married in 1956. The first seven years of
marriage we had six sons. I bought a house in 61. I had a hard time finding good jobs until I became a fireman
for the City of Anaheim. I went back to college for a degree in a new program at Cal State LA, for fire

en retired since 1991. After our
boys were grown, we adopted two foster daughters who are now grown. My wife developed Alzheimer's five
years ago, She is cared for in a nursing home and cannot do anything for herself. I was depressed for some
time, but met several ladies on "Senior People Meet" and now had a lady friend. We have traveled all around the
world and enjoy life to its fullest extent. Our next trip next month (October) will be to Japan. In 1955, I stood at
"ground zero" in Hiroshima. I will revisit it 59 years later.
Today, I live in Anaheim Hills in a big house by myself and will never move. I love it here, keep busy with
hobbies, see my lady friend occasionally and love life to its fullest extent.
