Jan's Story
Hi,
I was the 'quiet artist' at Norland. Since graduation, I have earned masters degrees in Art History and Counseling Psychology. I lived in Washington DC and worked for the Smithsonian, Maryland College of Art and Design, National Endowment for the Arts and Members of Congress for Peace thru Law. I worked for several politicians upon my return to South Florida. I am on my second round of living in California; previously San Francisco area, currently Huntington Beach(Surf City). y and I do some online curriculum design. I am no longer quiet, hopefully I am still creative!
I have developed a deep yearning for Miami Beach, especially Tropical Art Deco. It's ironic how time and distance can evoke the blessings of 'home'.
I have spent the last 30 years studying spiritual and religious topics as a hobby. I am twice divorced and I have a beautiful 22 year old daughter who is in college in Portland, OR. I love to swim and hang out with my 12 year old cat.
