Jan's Story

Jerry & I were married in December 1959 and lived in Hammond for about 5 years. We raised our family in Schererville and in 1995 moved to Winter Haven Florida. We miss our family and friends back in Indiana but love it here. I love to golf, bake, do all kinds of crafts & travel. After my having Cancer in 2001 (I lost a kidney and 6 mos of my life ...Expand for more
due to very aggressive chemo), we are both in pretty good health. Jerry transports cars for an auto dealership so we have gotten to see the whole state. We feel we picked the best location. We are half way between Tampa and Orlando. We have taken several trips to Hawaii and before we moved here, we vacationed in South Carolina and Florida for golf.
